Qype: The Stork Inn in Conder Green

Ate here the first time, on our way back from a trip to Cumbria, we passed it on the way out and decided to stop on the way back so was early evening. The menu is South African based and I was really lucky to have arrived here during National Curry Week, the restaurant was packed and their was quite a wait for our first course, this was more down to the popularity than the efficiency of the staff. All I can say the food was well worth the wait, the starter we had was a mix of pates made with cream cheese, my main was a Durban, a South African beef curry, in all my years of experience in eating curries this was and still is the BEST I have ever eaten, unfotunately it was only on for Curry Week. Overall the experience was amazing, the food out of this world, but if you are impatient and don’t like to wait this place is not for you, however if you appreciate fine dining at a very affordable price, put this on the top of your list of places to eat in 2013.

Qype: One Stop Convenience Store in Poulton-le-Fylde

This is our local shop, having recently been taken over by the One Stop Franchise, they do offer a wide range of items for those that cannot be bothered to go to town, although they have a good choice of food, wines and beers they must be seriously catagorised as a convenience store, after I complained several times about the bin being next to where I can fasten my dog, I was not shocked to find that the bin was almost next to the fastener with numerous amounts of chewing gum on the floor to add additional threats to my dog. All I can say this store is “SPECIAL” in the fact that any kind of management that is in place is not reflected however I should not knock places that are owned by retards and run by retards as it does keep them off our streets, ,my New Years Resolution is to avoid this place until either it closes down or Hell freezes over, my money is on that Hell will be warmer a LOT longer ;)

Press Release: Redbet announced as partner to Bulgarian Poker Festival (BPF) March 27th-31st

Redbet are to partner the Bulgarian Poker Festival (BPF), which is being held in Pravets, Bulgaria running from the 27th March through to March 31st 2013. The main event which is a 1000+100 BGN buy in (Approximately €550) boasts a starting stack of 15,000 chips and 60 minute blinds, starting on the 28th March this 3 day event sees two Day Ones with Day Two held on the 30th culminating in the final table being played on the 31st of March. As well as the main event there will be a series of side events including a high roller event with a buy in of 2000+200 BGN (Approximately €1100), a Omaha pot limit tournament, a Texas Holdem no limit and knockout tournament to compliment the 5 days of poker.
