PaddyPower Update

The players have just taken the first break of the day so here’s a few quick chipcounts for you:

Benjamin Juhasz 115k

Nelius Foley 105k

‘Mad’ Marty Wilson 35k

Ben Roberts 70k

Marc McDonnell 75k

Tyler Bonkowski 115k

Michael Murphy 12ok after just winning a big pot button v sb. On a rainbow flop of k-6-3 Murphy had his continuation bet raised from 5k to 16k, Murphy wasn’t in the mood to mess around on the last hand before the break and shoved for the rest of his chips sending his opponent into the tank. Cigarette in mouth and with the room emptying for the break, Murphy called the clock on his opponent saying “I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t the break”, it took his opponent about 30 seconds to fold before both players left quickly to enjoy whats left of their break.

Update from Chris

Daz moved off TV table which is a good thing. Had a good crack with him. He is chilled now and ready to make some moves to make it to day three. I am VERY confident and I think he is too. Come on Dazzer!!! (makes my 4th place cash last night for €900 seems shit when I see the prize pool here)

Peter Murphy just cracked the pocket Aces of visiting Swedish player Samuel Lehtonen, dragging a pot of over 100,000 chips on the process, catapulting him among the biggest chip stacks in the room. We’re not sure when exactly the money went in, but Murphy made two pair with K-T on a board of K-6-9-T-3, cracking the Swede’s aces, leaving him with under 6,000 chips. Lehtonen earned a double-up with 7-7 on the very next hand, so we may not have seen the last of him just yet.

Darren Naylor is busted out, his Ace King is yielding a 20k bet in a 50k pot versus Ace Queen, the turn and river hammers in two coffin nails of Queen Queen to give him an early bath

Another Bad Beat Daz, don't worry about it ~ you did the right thing and can't change anything. I know that's no consolation, but hey-ho I heard you made up for it with a small drinking session.

Is there a game tonight?

Obviously, I don't play regularly enough to take part in the league but I just fancy a few beers and a sit down game of cards, rather than staring at pixels for a change.
