well done wendy did you play QQ from early position if so i dont think i would have risked all my stack 25% of my stack as a raise would have done me, that way i could get away from it easy as if A or K had landed on flop and you had a caller preflop you could have put him on it and folded saving you many chips to fight another battle with. Dont know if others would play the same as i do but it works for me.

it would have to depend on what the blinds were at that point wouldnt it but yeah dave I like your reasoning about the position. wud have been interesting to see if the A K had reraised Wendy all in pre flop if she had made a smaller standard raise.

Dave can you mentour me please?

Personally i don't like the way you played the hand, you were never going to know where you were due to the flat call, and if the Aces had of flat called too then i'm not sure how u could of layed the hand down after the flop or known where you are at + i think it was quite an easy fold considering 3 players after you went all in!

snapper would you have gone allin preflop ?? dont forget i was 1st to act before them preflop, and i did not know as i never had a crystal ball that 3 of them where going to go allin. And i never raised preflop snapper because i was trying a sneaky move to entice a few into the pot, by limping in they never knew what i had either, but by them sticking allin i knew i would have been in trouble and so early in a tournament i would rather lose 60 than everything. I guess there is no right way or wrong way to play a hand everyone does as they want i was just stateing by what i did i managed to get away from and expencive loss, later on in a similar situation i managed to lay down JJ and would also have been out before the money had i called. i left that tournament 17th with 40 so right or wrong m8 i left with money.

No i'm not saying i would of gone all in mate and i'm not being critical, just curious as to why you played several hands like this and congrats on getting into the money, i just think that limping in can be dangerous because you are never going to be sure of where exactly your at pre-flop or post-flop and it allows silly little hands to limp in with you which can result in a bad-beat etc.

Am not having a go mate, just curious as to why you prefer to limp in.

snapper with online play ive been allin with AA and these silly little limper hands have gone and called me and busted my AA. Allin does not scare off the likes of Stu Dorman the net is full of people who will call with anything.

Here you go snapper this is a prime example of AA getting called by a lowish hand, this happend to Bully. I may have done the same thing as he did by looks of it he kept pushing in with chips but by the turn i would maybe have put him on a set so could have got away from AA if this guy had kept calling my big bets, or even checked to him if he kept calling my big raises and see what he did. You dont expect anyone to call with 23 do you after large preflop raises.

just played a freeroll in ladbrokes was in top 5 for the fiirst 2 hrs and within the last ten mins iwent from 112k to 30k i lost 50k in one hand with pkt aces guy called my raise pre flop with 23 and hit 2 pairs toook me from 4th to 58th
just finished it now i got 73rd out of 2979 ppl only top 13 paid in to next big money tourney
gutted

Yes i know exactly what you mean, you can't get away from idiots we've all been there, me with my QQ vs 85 in PP, but i'm not going to change my game or become cautious against these idiots because that way all you are doing is playing scared.

Look don't mean anything but this is Wendys Post and all of a sudden we are shooting off the subject.

My Thoughts

WELL PLAYED Wendy :D

Stop OVER-Analysing hands especially with the large tank of amphibious species swimming about - AND CERTAINLY Hi-Jacking a thread

Last but not least - Dave, I am being critical MIX IT UP a bit mate, i suggest playing a few days as an Outragous player as you play really well as a rock, be nice to see you play dangerous ;) - not really advice as such but just a way to get a better read on the game
